Solid Waste Contract work study session (June 22nd Special Meeting <br />City Council) <br />Good afternoon Mayor Sarmiento and Council -members, <br />My name is Trisha Marquez and I have been working at Athens services as a <br />customer service agent for almost 3 years now. And my role here at Athens is to <br />ensure I provide each customer with the needed resources for a positive <br />customer service experience by answering general questions and tending to <br />possible customer concerns. I am also responsible for accepting customers <br />payments and assisting with billing. In addition I open up new services for <br />commercial and residential properties. As well as, providing access and <br />assistance on the option of renting roll off and temporary bins. Now as an Athens <br />employee I can tell you that I don't feel like just another worker. I feel like I am <br />part of a family and no matter how busy or overwhelmed we get I know that there <br />is always a fellow employee ready to help. That's why I love what I do and look <br />forward to going to work everyday for Athens services. Not only do I have this <br />great feeling of accomplishment when me or another employee provides above <br />and beyond quality of service to our customers but I also take pride knowing that <br />we help take part in cleaning up the community and being essential workers <br />during such a vital time in this pandemic. Here at Athens services we take time to <br />ensure that all our customers are happy. We take care of each customer <br />individually to their needs and truly work together to make sure that they are <br />thoroughly satisfied. We don't see our customers as just another paying <br />customer we see them for who they are; a homeowner, a neighbor, a small <br />family business, someone's family member, a friend, all our customers are a part <br />of big community and we are here to help take care of them and help make their <br />lives a little easier. For these reasons, I strongly recommend Athens Services <br />and respectfully ask that you consider selecting Athens Services to be the City of <br />Santa Ana's residential and commercial solid waste service provider. <br />Thank you for the opportunity to speak and your time. <br />
