day, 7-days a week <br />• Conducting electrical and mechanical repairs or troubleshooting as -needed <br />Contractors are required to have an electrician on their team or as a <br />subcontractor to provide lift station services. <br />Lift stations operations and maintenance documents are included as <br />Attachment 2 to this Addendum. <br />The City will provide basic training and additional documentation to the <br />selected proposers on stormwater lift station operations. <br />Contractors shall respond to lift station issues within 1-hour of initial request <br />or notification. <br />The Civic Center lift stations (2) are managed by Parks, Recreation, and <br />Community Services Agency staff. The First Street lift station (1) is managed <br />by Public Works Agency staff. The selected proposers shall provide separate <br />invoicing for work at each lift station. <br />i. Procure and install metal gates within or at the outlet of stormdrain facilities. At a <br />minimum, metal gates shall: <br />• Prohibit access by the public into stormdrain facilities <br />• Have a tamper -proof locking mechanism for dry -weather conditions <br />• Be capable of opening freely during storm conditions or debris blockage <br />• Be made of material strong enough to withstand potential vandalism <br />The City will provide metal gate design detail for contractors to procure <br />and install. <br />j. Any other work required to safely, effectively, and lawfully perform stormdrain <br />facility maintenance and cleaning services. <br />4) Flood Control Assistance <br />Contractors shall be capable of performing the following tasks: <br />a. Mobilize to flooded areas and/or historic problem areas under the direction of the City. <br />Contractors shall respond to flooding within 1-hour of initial request. <br />b. Deploy all necessary personnel, equipment, and materials to assist with flood control <br />and flooding complaints. The equipment deployed must have the ability to remove <br />excess water from the public right-of-way and dislodge materials blocking storm flows. <br />City of Santa Ana RFP 21-004 Page Al-6 <br />
