Identify <br />unknown chemicals using haz-cat procedures and chemical packaging. Supervise homeless encampment <br />cleanups for City of Cerritos and City of Glendale. Perform job -walks, prepare estimates and bids. <br />Noteworthy Projects: <br />Supervisor, John Wayne Airport (Orange County), 2009 to present (Single Source) <br />Mr. Piekkola is Ocean Blue's single point of contact for all matters with John Wayne Airport. Mr. Piekkola is the <br />Airport specialist when it comes to emergency response, hazardous waste management, and storm drain <br />management. Falling under Orange County's jurisdiction, the airport spends about $200K/year on Ocean Blue's <br />services. Additionally, Bill Piekkola is the Hazmat contractor for all of the airport's environmental consultants. <br />Supervisor, City of Pasadena Department of Water & Power, 2009 to present (Single Source) <br />Since 2008, Mr. Piekkola completed over 100 different projects for the City of Pasadena. He maintains their 90- <br />day compliance by regularly picking up their Hazardous Waste. Mr. Piekkola will perform any environmental <br />work for Pasadena including spills, PCB testing or excavating abandoned pipe lines. Water & Power has been <br />so happy with our services, they now refer us to work for the Public Works dept. This contract value is $312K. <br />Supervisor, City of Cerritos, 2009 to present (Single Source) <br />Starting in 2007, Mr. Piekkola has done over $500K of work for the City of Cerritos. The city relies on Mr. Piekkola <br />for their homeless encampment cleanups, sewage spills, 90-day waste pickups and the jetting of municipal storm <br />drains.
