CITY COUNCIL REGULAR OPEN SESSION <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />MINUTES: Mayor Sarmiento called the Regular Open Session meeting to order at 6:26 <br />p.m. <br />ROLL CALL <br />MINUTES: Clerk of the Council conducted roll call. All councilmembers were <br />present. Councilmember Mendoza joined the Open Regular Session meeting at 6:29 p.m. <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />INVOCATION <br />CEREMONIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Mayor Sarmiento <br />Bob Barnett, Police Chaplain <br />Proclamation presented by Councilmember Bacerra recognizing May 16th — 22nd, <br />2021 as National Public Works Week. <br />MINUTES: Executive Director of Public Works Agency Nabil Saba provided a brief <br />presentation. <br />2. Certificate of Recognition presented by Councilmember Hernandez to Sarinana's <br />Tamale Factory for Outstanding Contributions to the Community. <br />3. Certificate of Recognition presented by Councilmember Mendoza to Verenice Cuella, <br />El Pico de Gallo Grill for Outstanding Contributions to the Community. <br />4. Proclamation presented by Councilmember Phan recognizing May as Asian American <br />and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. <br />STAFF PRESENTATIONS <br />5.
