CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />Furniture Coordination Services Proposal <br />14 August 2021 <br />Page 2 <br />3, REIMBURSABLE EXPENSES: We are to be reimbursed for out-of-pocket expenses incurred on behalf <br />of the Project such as travel, messenger services, renderings, printing, plotting, photography and other <br />forms of reproducing drawings, specifications, and documents. These expenses will be invoiced at <br />our cost plus 95% and are not included under Basic Services. A separate allowance should be <br />budgeted for reimbursable expenses. <br />4. PAYMENT METHOD: Invoices for services rendered and reimbursable expenses shall be submitted <br />once a month on a net 30-day basis. Payments due and unpaid are subject to interest from the date <br />payment is due at the maximum prevailing legal rate. <br />D. TERMS & CONDITIONS: <br />1. The Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Architect, AIA Document B151, 1997 Edition will <br />be used as a reference for terms and conditions on this project. <br />E. The Architect agrees to be responsible for his or <br />his employee's own negligent acts, errors or omissions in the performance of their professional service. It is <br />understood and agreed that this contract does not contemplate handling of, or design including use of, asbestos <br />or any hazardous waste material. Therefore, Client agrees to hold harmless, defend and indemnify the Architect <br />for all claims, lawsuits, expenses or damages arising from or related to the handling, use, treatment, purchase, <br />sale, storage or disposal of asbestos, asbestos products or any hazardous waste materials, or hazardous <br />materials in general. <br />Continued on Next Page ... <br />
