Adopt the Seven -Year Capital Improvement Program (CIP) beginning FY21-22 <br />through FY27-28, as required by the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) <br />for Measure M2 eligibility. <br />Moved by Councilmember Phan, seconded by Councilmember Bacerra to <br />Continue the balance of the agenda to an adjourned meeting on Thursday, <br />June 3, 2021 at 6 P.M. <br />YES: 7 — Penaloza, Phan, Lopez, Bacerra, Hernandez, Mendoza, Sarmiento <br />NO: 0 <br />ABSTAIN: 0 <br />ABSENT:0 <br />Status: 7-0-0-0 —Pass <br />MINUTES: Mayor Sarmiento opened the Public Hearing at 8:49 P.M. <br />Khloe Rios Wyatt spoke in support of allocating 10 milling dollars towards the <br />Transgender community. <br />Analey Garcia spoke regarding a assistance for a Transgender inclusive shelter. <br />Cynthia Espinosa requested $10 million dollars from the federal government to be <br />allocated towards services for our community, the transgender and transgender <br />non -conforming. <br />Rachel Pozos requested $10 million dollars from the Revive Santa Ana funds to be <br />allocated towards services for our community, the transgender and transgender <br />non -conforming. <br />Brisa Mendoza requested financial support to strengthen the Transgender <br />community. <br />Monica Rios requested Revive funds be used to support the Transgender <br />community. <br />Natasha Flores expressed support towards trans women and Transgender <br />community and asked for Council's support. <br />Speaker spoke on behalf of Lisa Okamoto requested Council increase the <br />Immigration Defense Fund to $300, 000 annually and requested a full time <br />City Council 16 6/1/2021 <br />
