Approve an appropriation adjustment (#2022-011) recognizing an additional <br />allocation of Emergency Rental Assistance Program funds from the U.S. Department of <br />Treasury in the amount of $14,026,593.90 in revenue account and appropriating same <br />to expenditure account. (Requires five affirmative votes) <br />MINUTES: Housing Division Manager Judson Brown addressed council regarding <br />financial funds delivery and eligibility. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Penaloza expressed concern with the digital divide and language <br />barriers for residents. <br />Councilmember Pham requested outreach to residents and inquired about <br />benchmarks for our providers, timeline, and paperwork. <br />Mayor Sarmiento requested grassroots outreach in the most impacted <br />neighborhoods and legals services to prevent evictions. <br />This consent Item — Core Agreement No. 2021-107 was approved. <br />Moved by Mayor Pro Tom Penaloza, seconded by Councilmember Phan to <br />Approve Staff Recommendation and amend to include more in person <br />outreach and eviction legal services. <br />YES: 7 — Hernandez, Bacerra, Lopez, Mendoza, Phan, Penaloza, Sarmiento <br />NO: 0 <br />ABSTAIN: 0 <br />ABSENT: 0 <br />Status: 7-0-0-0— Pass <br />10.
