F. Source Separated Organic Materials Processing Standards. <br />1. Contractor shall arrange for Processing of all Source Separated Organic Materials <br />at a Facility that recovers Source Separated Organic Materials and in a manner <br />deemed not to constitute landfill Disposal pursuant to 14 CCR Section 18983.1(a) <br />which states that landfill Disposal includes final deposition of Organic Waste at a <br />landfill or use of Organic Waste as ADC or AIC. <br />2. Contractor shall arrange for Source Separated Organic Materials Processing at <br />the Approved Organic Waste Processing Facility that meets one or more of the <br />following criteria, and such Facility or operation is capable of and permitted to <br />accept and recover the types of Organic Wastes included in the Source Separated <br />Organic Materials: <br />a. "Compostable Material Handling Operation or Facility" as defined in 14 <br />CCR Section 17852(a) (12); small composting facilities that are otherwise <br />excluded from that definition; or community composting as defined <br />within 14 CCR Section 18982(a)(8). The compostable materials handling <br />operation or Facility shall, pursuant to 14 CCR Section 17867(a)(16), <br />demonstrate that the percentage of Organic Waste in the materials sent to <br />Disposal is: <br />i. On and after January 1, 2022, less than 20 percent (20%); and, <br />ii. On and after January 1, 2024, less than 10 percent (10%). <br />b. An "In -vessel Digestion Operation or Facility" as defined in 14 CCR <br />17896.5. The in -vessel digestion Facility or operation shall, pursuant to 14 <br />CCR Section 17896.44.1, demonstrate that the percentage of Organic Waste <br />in the materials sent to Disposal is: <br />i. On and after January 1, 2022, less than 20 percent (20%); and, <br />ii. On and after January 1, 2024, less than 10 percent (10%). <br />C. A 'Biomass Conversion Operation' as defined in Section 40106 of the <br />California Public Resources Code. <br />d.
