Source Separated Organic Materials that are to be accepted for Collection in the Source <br />Separated Organic Materials Collection program include the following: Food Scraps, <br />Food -Soiled Paper, Compostable Plastics, and Yard Waste. The Parties agree that types <br />of Source Separated Organic Materials may be added to or removed from this list from <br />time to time by mutual agreement with the City. Contractor shall not add or remove <br />materials to or from this list without written approval from the City or signed <br />amendment to the Agreement, and such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. <br />Carpets, Non-Compostable Paper, textiles, and Prohibited Container Contaminants <br />shall not be Collected in the Source Separated Organic Materials Containers. <br />Contractor may Collect Compostable Plastics in the Source Separated Organic Materials <br />Containers for Processing at the Approved Organic Waste Processing Facility. At least <br />three (3) months prior to the commencement of the Collection of Compostable Plastics <br />in the Source Separated Organic Materials program, Contractor shall provide written <br />notification to the City that the Facility can Process and recover these Compostable <br />Plastics. Contractor shall provide written notification to the City annually that the <br />Facility has and will continue to have the capabilities to Process and recover the <br />Compostable Plastics. Company shall notify the City within five (5) business days of the <br />Facility's inability to accept Compostable Plastics. The notification shall include: a <br />description of the reasons the Facility is no longer able to Process and recover <br />Compostable Plastics; the period of time the Facility will not Process and recover <br />Compostable Plastics; and, the Contractor's proposed plan to assist in education and <br />outreach of Customers in the event that Compostable Plastics are no longer accepted for <br />Collection. Such changes shall be handled as a change in scope pursuant to Section 2.10. <br />D. Refuse Collection. Contractor shall provide Containers to Customers for Collection of <br />Refuse with coloring in accordance with Section4.7.4. Contractor shall Transport the <br />Collected Refuse to (i) the Designated Disposal Facility, or (ii) the Approved Transfer <br />Facility for Transfer and Transport to the Designated Disposal Facility, as specified in <br />Exhibit 8. Contractor may allow carpets and textiles to be placed in the Refuse <br />Containers. Prohibited Container Contaminants shall not be Collected in the Refuse <br />Containers. <br />2.
