E X P E R I E N C E MULTIPLE ACQUISITION PROJECTS Fresno County Dept of Public Works and Planning I Fresno, CA 12015 - 2019 Auberry and Copper Traffic Signal Project This project consisted of installation of a new four -phase traffic signal with protected left -turn phasing at the intersection of Auberry Road and Copper Avenue- New traffic signal pole foundations and poles were also installed. Auberry Road was widened at the intersection to accommodate left -turn pockets on each approach of the intersection. There were two impacted parcels with two permanent road easements and two temporary construction permits. This project was delivered within budget and on time. Bridge Preventative Maintenace Program Scour Mitigation Project The purpose of the project was to extend the service life of seven existing bridges by installing new scour countermeasures along with other maintenance activities. Permanent maintenance easements were acquired from 14 parcels with 12 owners. Originally the County sought to acquire temporary construction easements, but later decided to pursue permanent easements. This change, along with some project redesigns, caused delays that pushed the project well past its original completion date. Jeremy Nied was sucessful in working with the parties to ultimately move the project to completion. North Avenue Reconstruction Protect From Bethel Avenue to Academy Avenue. This project consisted of improvements to North Avenue including reconstruction of the road surface with hot mix asphalt and aggregate base, construction of sidewalks, curb ramps, cross walks, curbs and gutters, storm drain construction and other miscellaneous improvements. Redesigns required creation of revised offer packages. There were five permanent easements from We owners- This project was delivered on time and within budget. Outside Main Canal Bridge on Russell Avenue Project. This project replaced the hydraulically inadequate Outside Canal Bridge with anew bridge that meets current standards and accommodates ground subsidence and satisfies Central California Irrigation District (CCID) requirements. There were Temporary Construction Permits acquired for six parcels, with a total of three owners. Jeremy sucessfully delivered this project within budget and on time.
