(CIP) to add: $1,012,500 in Measure M2 Competitive ICE funding for the construction <br />phase of the Bristol Street/Memory Lane Intersection Improvements project (17-6883); <br />$5,658,840 in Measure M2 Competitive ICE funding to the Fairview Bridge and <br />Street Improvements from 9th Street to 16th Street project (15-6827) for the right-of- <br />way and construction phases; and $9,076,305 in Measure M2 Competitive ACE <br />funding for the construction phase of the Warner Avenue Improvements from Oak <br />Street to Grand Avenue project (18-6901). <br />MINUTES: Executive Director of Public Works Agency Nabil Saba and Principal <br />Civil Engineer Jason Gabriel addressed council regarding Bristol Street widening. <br />Council discussion ensued and provided direction to staff. <br />Moved by Mayor Sarmiento, seconded by Mayor Pro Tern Penaloza to <br />Approve Appropriation Adjustment. <br />YES: 6 — Bacerra, Hernandez, Mendoza, Phan, Penaloza, Sarmiento <br />NO: 1 — Lopez <br />ABSTAIN: 0 <br />ABSENT:0 <br />Status: 6 — 1 — 0 — 0 —Pass <br />20. Approve Appropriation Adjustment to Recognize Homeless Housing, Assistance and <br />Prevention Program Funds (Non -General Fund) <br />Department(s): Community Development Agency <br />Recommended Action: Approve an appropriation adjustment (2022-027) <br />recognizing $3,981,386 in funds from the State of California, Business, Consumer <br />Services and Housing Agency in revenue account and appropriate the same amount <br />to expenditure account to address homelessness in the City of Santa Ana. (Requires <br />five affirmative votes) <br />21. Approve an Amendment to Illumination Foundation Agreement to Operate a <br />Temporary Shelter at the Fullerton Recuperative Care Center for up to Four Months <br />(Non -General Fund) <br />Continued from the August 17, 2021 City Council meeting. <br />Department(s): Community Development Agency <br />Recommended Action: Authorize the City Manager to execute an amendment to the <br />agreement with Illumination Foundation to continue to operate a temporary shelter at <br />the Fullerton Recuperative Care Center for an additional four months through January <br />31, 2022 for an additional amount of $600,000, for a total aggregate amount not to <br />exceed $2,100,000, subject to non -substantive changes approved by the City <br />Manager and City Attorney (Agreement No. 2021-XXX). <br />Moved by Councilmember Bacerra, seconded by Councilmember Mendoza to <br />City Council 10 9/7/2021 <br />
