Approve a Second Amendment to Salvation Army Agreement to Extend the <br />Operation of a Temporary Shelter at the Hospitality House for One Month (Non - <br />General Fund) <br />Department(s): Community Development Agency <br />Recommended Action: Authorize the City Manager to execute: <br />1. A second amendment to the agreement with Salvation Army for the operation of a <br />temporary shelter at the Hospitality House, extending the term for an additional month <br />at the amount of $130,000 per month, for a total aggregate amount not to exceed <br />$1,040,000, subject to non -substantive changes approved by the City Manager and <br />City Attorney (Agreement No. 2022-XXX). <br />2. A second amendment to the funding agreement with Salvation Army to use <br />$130,000 per month of additional ESG-CV funds to operate the shelter at the <br />Hospitality House, for a total aggregate amount not to exceed $1,040,000, subject to <br />non -substantive changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney <br />(Agreement No. 2022-XXX). <br />MINUTES: This consent Item - Core Agreement No. 2022-007 was approved. <br />22. Approve Agreements with Vicon Enterprises, Inc. and Superior Hot Tapping Services, <br />Inc. for On -Call Welding Services, for a Total Amount not to Exceed $500,000, for up <br />to a Five -Year Term (Non -General Fund) <br />Department(s): Public Works Agency <br />Recommended Action: Authorize the City Manager to execute agreements with <br />Vicon Enterprises, Inc. and Superior Hot Tapping Services, Inc. to provide on -call <br />welding services, for a three-year term beginning January 18, 2022 and expiring <br />January 17, 2025, with provisions for one, two-year renewal period exercisable by the <br />City Manager and City Attorney, with a shared aggregate amount not to exceed of <br />$500,000, subject to non -substantive changes approved by the City Manager and City <br />Attorney (Agreement No. 2022-XXX). <br />City Council 12 1/18/2022 <br />
