Councilmember Lopez reiterated concerns heard from the community regarding map F. Expressed support draft plans SARC1, A, and J. Councilmember Hernandez concurred with Councilmember Lopez. Spoke on the importance of taking into account social justice and equity. Expressed concern with maps: D, E, J and VietRISE 1. Expressed support for maps A and A2. Noted reasons why he was unable to support SARC1 and SARC2. Noted that marginalized communities must be included. Councilmember Mendoza reiterated support for map #86566, known as map F, and provided reasons for supporting it. Mayor Pro Tem Bacerra provided reasons for supporting map F. Councilmember Phan spoke on the various communities of interest that exist and the difficulty of establishing them. Inquired about Section 2 district.
