Looking to keep them together <br />in the same district. Noted that the southern area around South Bristol deserve to <br />continue to be together. Requested to elevate updated map F, # 104634. <br />Councilmember Penaloza thanked all who spoke and expressed support of plan F, <br />#86566. <br />Mayor Sarmiento noted that the adopted map will require a 213 majority vote <br />according to Article 1, Section 10 1. 2 of the City Charter. Thanked staff, consultant, <br />Clerk of the Council, and council for their work on the redistricting process. Supports <br />colleagues maps. Expressed the importance of complying with the settlement in <br />respect to the Asian Plurality, respect the EJ corridor and Willowick. Noted that the <br />maps are drafts and require further tweaking to narrow down. Support plans A, A2 <br />and SARC1. <br />Councilmember Phan stated the draft maps council requested to be elevated: A, <br />A2, F, J, SARC 1, SARC 2 and ID #104634. <br />Councilmember Lopez requested to elevate the updated plan J map. <br />Mayor Sarmiento noted the redistricting item will be brought back to the February <br />15, 2022 Council meeting. <br />Clerk of the Council Daisy Gomez noted the draft maps to be brought back for <br />council consideration: A, AZ J, new version of J, F, 104634, SARC 1, and SARC2 <br />After direction was provided to staff, council considered item 5, residential permit <br />parking update presentation. <br />17.
