ORANGE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT <br />Return FULLY EXECUTED Memorandum of Understanding <br />CRIME LAB copy to COTC, M-30 RAN Board Mobile Identification Solution <br />ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />0: �Po1�ee, nzelleL �S�" I <br />This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is entered into by and between the Orange County Sheriff Crime <br />Laboratory Division, Cal -ID Bureau (hereinafter referred to as "Cal -ID") and the Santa Ana Police Department <br />(hereinafter referred to as "User"), to define the overall purpose and objectives of the Orange County Mobile <br />Identification Program (hereinafter referred to as "Mobile ID" or "MID") as well as define the roles and <br />responsibilities between of Cal -ID and User. Cal -ID and User may be referred to collectively as "the Parties" <br />1. PURPOSE <br />The Parties desire to enter into the Mobile ID Program as provider and recipient of equipment and services <br />for the identification of human subjects through the mobile capture, transmission, and evaluation of <br />fingerprints. <br />2. OBJECTIVES <br />The objectives of the program are: <br />a) to provide the User with a mobile tool for biometric identification of human subjects in its law <br />enforcement activities <br />b) to provide feedback from the User to Cal -ID on Mobile ID use cases and value <br />c) to identify desired features and functionality requiring further development <br />3. TERM OF USE <br />The term of use will expire when the User is a non -participant of the Joint Agreement for the <br />Implementation and Operation of the Orange County Automated Fingerprint Identification System ("AFIS <br />Agreement'). <br />4. <br />The Parties agree to the following responsibilities. <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
