Attachment A - Joint Agreement for 800 MHz CCCS Page 41 of 83 <br />Management <br />The Lead Agency Director is responsible for managing the process of potential new System User <br />applications in accordance with protocols established by the Governance Committee and <br />documented in the 800 MHz CCCS Joint Agreement. <br />4.10 Alias List Standards <br />Purpose or Objective <br />To establish a standard for the use of Subscriber alias for Identifying radio users. <br />Operational Context <br />An alias is a common alphanumeric name used to identify a radio, talkgroup, site, etc. rather <br />than referencing the assigned 7-digit IUID number. <br />The Lead Agency does not maintain alias names for Partner Agencies. <br />Each Partner Agency shall maintain their own alias database and their alias names will only <br />appear on their local dispatch consoles and subscriber radios. <br />Management <br />Each User Agency is responsible for establishing and maintaining any alias lists used by that <br />agency. <br />4.11 Member Agency Operational Policy Changes <br />Purpose or Objective <br />Defines a process to mitigate negative impact to this SOP, other Member Agencies or the <br />overall operation of the System when Member Agencies make changes to their Individual <br />Agency operational policies. <br />Operational Context <br />The 800 MHz CCCS Governance Committee is charged with approving standards and <br />determining protocols and procedures for optimal operations between and among the users of <br />the System. <br />Member Agency operational policies must not be contrary to this established SOP nor should <br />they knowingly impact other Member Agencies in a negative manner. There will be occasions or <br />incidents that might result in the need for a Member Agency to make changes to their <br />operational polices. Member Agencies must ensure that any change made to their internal <br />operational policies harmonizes with the established SOP and fellow Member Agencies. <br />Protocol <br />Member Agencies are expected to understand the potential for their policies to impact other <br />Agencies on an integrated communications system. As a result, any Member Agency planning to <br />make changes to their operational policy must take into account the impact on the System.
