DocuSign Envelope ID: 885498D2-1CBA-4928-AE9B-EDEEE17D7376 <br />to assist the PARTICIPANT in finding, obtaining, and retaining employment. <br />5.8 Obtain prior approval from ADMINISTRATOR for changes related to the <br />administration of VTR and WEX activities provided under this Agreement. <br />5.9 Notify ADMINISTRATOR within two (2) business days of any updates related to <br />the PARTICIPANT'S status within the VTR and/or WEX program including, but <br />not limited to: completion of program, securing of employment, and inability to <br />contact the PARTICIPANT after a minimum of three (3) documented attempts <br />within five (5) business days. Attempted contacts will include, but not limited to, <br />phone/cell calls, email, and text messages. <br />5.10 Collaborate with ADMINISTRATOR to help PARTICIPANTS overcome socio- <br />economic, societal, and cultural barriers to employment including, but not limited <br />to, food, transportation, housing, legal assistance, clothing need, and resistance to <br />pursuing employment in occupations that may be perceived as nontraditional. <br />5.11 Monitor the attendance and progress of all PARTICIPANTS by meeting with the <br />PARTICIPANT every two (2) weeks, or more often if needed, and work directly <br />with the placement supervisor and the training facility to discuss action steps <br />needed to successfully complete the program. <br />5.12 Identify and resolve PARTICIPANT barriers toward seeking, obtaining, and <br />keeping employment, including, but not limited to, fear of going to work, anger and <br />resentment from being required to participate in VTR or WEX, low self- <br />esteem/motivation, problems with accessing and navigating public transportation, <br />and child care concerns. <br />5.13 Refer PARTICIPANTS to ADMINISTRATOR for assistance with employment <br />support services, such as food, transportation, housing, mental health and substance <br />use issues, legal assistance, and clothing. <br />5.14 Develop and provide placements in public or private, non-profit or for -profit <br />organizations, in areas identified as growth oriented, current or emerging <br />occupations, meeting an unmet community need, and in high demand for VTR and <br />WDM0522 Page 5 of 23 March 1, 2022 <br />
