We will use what we learned from the most recent crisis incident to continuously improve <br />our regular workshops and trainings. We anticipate holding listening sessions as needed or at least 2 per year, <br />reaching 80 residents annually. <br />Additionally, we aim to market the program through stakeholders and nonprofit partners in the region to promote the <br />program. Building on a stronger relationship with the City of Santa Ana and Santa Ana Police Department in their <br />efforts towards Community Policing and Reimaging public safety in serving and protecting the community, Orange <br />County Human Relations (OCHR) Council will continue to build partnerships to provide Community -Based Alternative <br />Dispute Resolution and offer specialized programming to assist residents in serving the greater Orange County <br />community in line with the Mission and Vision of OCHR. Stakeholders may neighborhood associations, nonprofits, city <br />departments and offices, city representatives, faith based centers and nonprofit organizations. We aim to provide <br />quarterly updates (via email, virtual meetings, via phone or in -person meetings). <br />Funding requested enables one (1) conflict resolution staff at 0.3 FTE to mediate conflict and provide services to 180 <br />Santa Ana residents over a 12 month period. <br />EXHIBIT A <br />
