We will use what we learned from the most recent crisis incident to continuously improve
our regular workshops and trainings. We anticipate holding listening sessions as needed or at least 2 per year,
reaching 80 residents annually.
Additionally, we aim to market the program through stakeholders and nonprofit partners in the region to promote the
program. Building on a stronger relationship with the City of Santa Ana and Santa Ana Police Department in their
efforts towards Community Policing and Reimaging public safety in serving and protecting the community, Orange
County Human Relations (OCHR) Council will continue to build partnerships to provide Community -Based Alternative
Dispute Resolution and offer specialized programming to assist residents in serving the greater Orange County
community in line with the Mission and Vision of OCHR. Stakeholders may neighborhood associations, nonprofits, city
departments and offices, city representatives, faith based centers and nonprofit organizations. We aim to provide
quarterly updates (via email, virtual meetings, via phone or in -person meetings).
Funding requested enables one (1) conflict resolution staff at 0.3 FTE to mediate conflict and provide services to 180
Santa Ana residents over a 12 month period.
EXHIBIT A
