CAPABILITIES TO MEET YOUR NEEDS
Category 1. Planning, Resources, and Design
As you will see in our organization chart on page 7, we have
assembled a comprehensive team to address each scope item,
and then some, so we are ready for any planning and feasibility
studies, hydraulic modeling, and design work that may arise.
Planning/Hydraulic Modeling
To assist agencies with moving master planned projects to the
next level of detail, Ardurra is often called upon to prepare the
preliminary design for a specific facility. We can also prepare
water supply assessment for new development. These projects
help our clients reach decisions about hydraulic analysis and
pump selection, lift station site layouts, and construction phasing.
In many instances, the preparation of such a preliminary design is
the first step that we perform as part of the overall facility design.
Example projects include:
• City of El Monte Sewer Master Plan and GIS Improvements
(development of a sewer GIS database and associated
sewer atlas maps through record drawing conversion; CCTV
inspection of 330,000 LF sewer main; development of hydraulic
model using InfoSWMM; asset management plan using
CapPlan for InfoSWMM)
• City of Hesperia Water, Wastewater, and Recycled Water
Master Plan (preparation of a water, wastewater, and recycled
water master plan update that included the development of
a water, sewer, and recycled water system hydraulic model
through GIS integration, system demand projections to the
year 2040, and a capital improvement program)
• City of Oceanside As -Needed Hydraulic Modeling Services
[water and sewer hydraulic modeling (InfoWater and
InfoSWMM) to perform water and sewer utility impact studies
for proposed developments within the city]
• Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District Water and Sewer Utility
Impact Study (digitized proposed water and sewer facilities into
water and sewer models and performed hydraulic analysis to
confirm the recommended sizes for the proposed water lines,
water booster station, and sewer lines)
Lift/Pump Stations
Our lift/pump station experience encompasses the design and
condition assessment of pumping systems ranging from 130 gpm
to 11,000+ gpm capacities and includes under constant- and
variable -speed pumping conditions. Our experience includes
