American Water Works <br />Association <br />EXPERIENCE <br />Office Location: <br />La Palma Ave, and Tustin Ave. Water Main Replacements at OCTA rvine, CA <br />Crossing, City of Anaheim, CA. 2021. Design Engineer. The OCTA <br />planned to construct an additional railroad track for the Metrolink within Years of Experience: <br />its existing right-of-way as part of the Anaheim Canyon Station 29 <br />Metrolink Project. The new tracks cross City of Anaheim water mains at Years with Tetra Tech: <br />La Palma Avenue and Tustin Avenue and therefore the mains must be 29 <br />rerouted and placed within a steel casing. Tetra Tech prepared plans <br />and specifications to replace the existing 36-inch concrete cylindrical pipe with a 36-inch steel in a <br />48-inch steel casing in La Palma Avenue, the existing 12-inch CIP with a 12-inch DIP in a 24-inch steel <br />casing in La Palma Avenue, and the existing 12-inch CIP with a 12-inch DIP in a 24-inch steel casing in <br />Tustin Avenue. <br />Waterline Replacement Projects, Golden State Water Company, CA. 2020. Design Engineer. <br />Prepare the design plans for several water main replacement projects throughout the GSWC service <br />areas primarily the Southwest District. Work included existing utility research and base map <br />preparation, determining abandonment required, alignment selection and Feld check surveys, and <br />obtaining permit conditions for construction for various affected cities. Projects include: 1751' <br />Street/185th Street Area Main Replacement; Water Quality Area 6 Main Replacement; 108'h Street/1001h <br />Street Area Main Replacement; Otis Avenue and Prospect Avenue Area Main Replacement; <br />Wilmington Avenue and Walnut Drive Area Main Replacement; Overland Avenue Area Water Main <br />Replacement; and Live Oak/Lynrose Avenue Water Main Replacement. <br />Overland Avenue Area Water Main Replacement, Golden State Water Company, Culver City, CA. <br />2019. Design Engineer. Preparation of plans and specifications to replace deteriorated pipe along <br />Overland Bridge across Ballona Creek in GSWC's system. The key to the project was to determine the <br />impact of the installation of a new pipeline to the existing bridge structure. Tetra Tech's structural group <br />confirmed the design did not affect the integrity of the bridge. <br />Long Beach Valve Replacement Project, Long Water Department, Long Beach, CA. 2018. Design <br />Engineer for improvements to an existing Flow Control/Pressure Reducing Station for the Department. <br />The improvements included the removal of existing piping and control valves with the replacement of <br />new butterfly valves and plunger valves. The pressure reduction in this station was approximately <br />180 psi and required that the plunger valve be designed and sized properly to handle such a large drop <br />at this particular station. <br />Atkinson Area Main Replacement, Precision Pipeline, Hawthorne and Inglewood, CA. 2018. As <br />Lead Design Engineer completed the design plans for a water main project in the City of Hawthorne <br />and Inglewood. The work was completed as part of a design -build contract with Precision Pipeline. <br />Work included: existing utility research and base map preparation, determining abandonment required, <br />alignment selection and field check surveys, interaction with client and GSWC project manager with <br />plan check comments, procurement of permit. Total water main footage was approximately 17,000 feet <br />of 8-inch pipe. <br />TETRA TECH <br />
