He has extensive experience in water resources master planning and <br />design, as well as the development and implementation of financing for these <br />and other public works projects. <br />Experience <br />As -Needed Water Engineering Design Services - Anaheim, CA: <br />Project Manager for ongoing professional engineering services under as - <br />needed contracts for the City's Water Services Division of the Public Utilities <br />Department. Projects have included a variety of water facilities design projects <br />including pump station upgrades, domestic well pumping facilities, domestic <br />water reservoir mixing improvements, reservoir and pump station condition <br />assessments and water supply assessments. <br />Envision Sustainability <br />Water Master Plan and Financial Plan Update - Huntington Beach, <br />Professional/Institute for <br />CA: Project Manager for the 2012 Update of the City's water master plan and <br />Sustainable Infrastructure <br />financial plan update. In order to provide water supply for the College Park planned <br />community being constructed by Lennar Homes, a new well was needed. <br />Psomas worked with City staff to analyze various sites and recommended a site <br />in Mountain View Park. Psomas worked with various City staff departments, <br />primarily Parks and Recreation, to use a corner of this existing park site in <br />exchange for providing some park amenities including ball park fencing and <br />an equipment storage building. The well is currently being drilled and the <br />equipping plans and specifications, including pump, motor, electrical, building, <br />landscape, and park improvement plans, are nearing completion. In conjunction <br />with this water supply project, Psomas also designed a 2.5-mile transmission <br />main to pipe water from this well and two others along the route to a regional <br />water treatment facility currently under construction. <br />Groundwater Supply Analysis - Buena Park, CA: In conjunction with an <br />update to the City of Buena Park's Water Master Plan, managed an analysis <br />of exactly what would be required for the City to supply 100% of their water <br />demand from groundwater. This analysis considered monthly demand and <br />production capabilities and developed a phased CIP including moving forward <br />with the development of two additional wells.
