<br />Manager for full-time, on -site field inspection of the installation of approximately
<br />2,000 feet of new storm drain pipes ranging in size between 24- and 48-inch
<br />diameters. In addition, two stormwater pumps will be installed along the new pipe
<br />alignment, and the reconstruction of an existing outfall into San Diego Bay including
<br />placement of riprap. Inspection services include inspecting project materials to
<br />verify compliance, attendance at pre -construction meeting, daily inspection reports,
<br />photographic and video documentation of pre -construction and post -construction
<br />project site conditions, and assistance with the preparation of project punch list.
<br />Survey services were also included in Psomas' scope.
<br />Port of San Diego, Chula Vista Bayfront Construction Management Services
<br />- San Diego, CA: Resident Engineer for the Chula Vista Bayfront project serving as
<br />the District's representative during pre -construction, bid/award and construction on
<br />both developer -led projects and Port -managed projects. Current projects under the
<br />first phase of the program include the Costa Vista RV Park, Sweetwater Bicycle Path
<br />& Promenade, Soil Cleanup and Demolition, RIDA Resort Hotel & Convention Center,
<br />Sweetwater Park and Harbor Park.
<br />El Norte Project Improvements Project - Escondido, CA: Project Manager for
<br />providing inspection support services including structures inspection, geotechnical
<br />testing and inspection, and materials testing and inspection. Project challenges
<br />include demolition and pile driving in close proximity to an existing 36-inch water
<br />line, traffic control, and cyclist/pedestrian safety on an active recreation trail
<br />through the project site.
<br />San Diego County Water Authority, 112A Pump Station Improvement Project
<br />- Greater San Diego Area, CA: Construction Manager responsible for managing
<br />scope, budget, schedule and quality of design -build project for rehabilitation and
<br />upgrades to Valley Center pump station rehabilitation project. Project scope included
<br />development of final design and construction documents; installation of three new
<br />13.7 cfs vertical turbine pumps; removal and replacement of various electrically
<br />actuated valves (butterfly, sleeve, V-port ball, knife gate, plunger); new pump motor
<br />variable frequency drives (VFDs), motor control centers (MCCs), an active harmonic
<br />filter (AHF), redundant PLCs; and building improvements.
<br />San Diego County Water Authority, PCCP Relining Aqueduct Protection
<br />Program - Greater San Diego Area, CA: Served as Resident Engineer or
<br />Construction Manager managing scope, budget, schedule and quality for multiple
<br />large -diameter pipeline rehabilitation projects. Tasks included monitoring and
<br />evaluating schedule updates, providing cost control via Earned Value, issue tracking
<br />and claims avoidance, reviewing and negotiating change orders, overseeing Quality
<br />Assurance program and client/stakeholder coordination.
