To minimize the region's dependence <br />on imported water, the project will capture 158 AFY of runoff from a 453-acre <br />tributary area and recharge the San Fernando Valley Groundwater Basin. <br />The project consists of installing a 0.65-acre underground infiltration gallery at <br />Valley Village Park.
