(JMNS <br />or individuals which City staff might direct <br />MNS to contact. The burden of letter writing <br />will be minimized by MNS providing a draft <br />support letter to each contact. Wording of <br />the draft support letter can be modified or <br />customized to reflect the interest of the person <br />or organization offering support. <br />A draft of the application with be submitted <br />to City staff for review and comment. Upon <br />receipt of comments from the City, MNS <br />will incorporate the comments and make <br />necessary revisions to the applications <br />documents. MNS will conduct a final quality <br />assurance/quality control (QA/QC) check <br />of all application forms and attachments <br />completeness, thoroughness, accuracy, <br />spelling, and grammar. <br />MNS will produce both electronic and hard <br />copies of the final grant application as <br />required in the application instructions. This <br />proposal assumes MNS will be responsible <br />for submittal of the electronic copy of the <br />application package. <br />MNS recognizes City staff may have grant <br />writing experience and may choose to write <br />an application, however, they may need some <br />writing assistance and/or additional capacity. <br />MNS has worked with other public agencies <br />to provide grant writing assistance and QA/ <br />QC support during the writing process. This <br />hybrid grant writing format is an excellent <br />option to keep grant writing costs down. MNS is <br />prepared to provide this alternative option. <br />Track Application Status and Respond to Funder <br />Requests for Additional Information <br />Granting agencies may contact the City with <br />questions about the grant application after <br />its submittal. MNS has found various grantor <br />agencies to have application processes with <br />open lines of communication and agency staff <br />that will typically engage with questions about <br />an application submittal. MNS will support the <br />City in providing responses to DWR's questions <br />in emails and any necessary changes to <br />submitted documents. <br />Grants Management <br />The MNS PM can provide oversight of all <br />post -award grant management tasks. The <br />PM will ensure the MNS funding assistance <br />team conducts proper and effective <br />communications with contacts at grant <br />funding agencies. The MNS funding assistance <br />team will prepare invoices and disbursement <br />requests and quarterly or periodic progress <br />reports to submit to grant funding agencies, <br />as required by program guidelines and/or <br />a grant agreement. The MNS PM will ensure <br />the accuracy of disbursement requests and <br />thoroughness of periodic progress report <br />content. The MNS PM will set QA/QC standards <br />for all work products to the satisfaction of the <br />City. <br />SECTION 5. SCOPE OF WORK <br />
