To: Araiza, Fatima <faraiza@santa-ana.org> <br />Subject: Program Benefits and Property Maintenance Agreement <br />Hi Fatima, <br />As we discussed last week, the Program Benefits and Property Maintenance Agreement is modeled <br />similarly to the property maintenance agreements utilized for Historic Resources Commission. The <br />differences between these agreements are: <br />➢ Program Benefits states an award amount for the applicant <br />➢ The agreement requires applicants to maintain the improvements listed in their application for <br />a 5-year term or if the property is sold, whichever comes first. <br />The agreements utilized for HRC do not require a signature from the City Attorney nor the Executive <br />Director of PBA. <br />Additionally, the agreement template was included in the program materials when the program was <br />presented and received Council Approval on June 21, 2022.
