ERIC STERLING <br />SENIOR LANDSCAPE <br />ARCHITECT <br />Mr. Sterling is returning to DVD <br />from a 9-year absence to explore <br />worldly projects. He has 25 <br />years of experience in landscape <br />architecture working on projects for public agencies. <br />His design expertise ranges from recreational parks to <br />streetscapes, school sites, as well as city design guidelines, <br />various Disney parks, including many award -winning <br />projects. <br />A benefit to Mr. Sterling's design ability is his attention to <br />detail and his knowledge of playground design, the latest <br />construction practices and materials, ADA accessibility <br />concerns. He is a key figure at DVD in coordinating design <br />development plans and carrying them through construction <br />drawings. He is known for his ability to collaborate with a <br />variety of clients, architects, engineers and designers and to <br />successfully manage projects from beginning to end. <br />He ensures adherence to established project schedules and <br />cost agreements, and monitors production for delivery of the <br />highest quality products to clients. He managed the project to <br />7 ensure adherence to established project <br />c budgets, and schedules. <br />RECENT PROJECT EXPEREINCE <br />COSTA MESA SANITARY <br />HEADQUARTERS <br />Client: Costa Mesa Sanitary District <br />A turf removaYwater conservation project to <br />provide a boldly vibrant landscape design <br />which incorporates native landscape. <br />These outreach programs include waste <br />reduction, composting and mulching as <br />well as water saving irrigation practices <br />and landscape material selection. <br />WOLFSON PARK EXPANSION <br />Client: City of Rancho Mirage <br />Working hand -in -hand with the city <br />to deliver a design that meets the <br />communities' expectations, the <br />overall design needed to fit within the <br />parks' existing Victorian style while <br />accommodating new program features. <br />REFLECTION PARK <br />Client: City of Desert Hot Springs <br />The new program includes ADA upgrades, <br />benches, boulders and cobble, new native <br />landscape and irrigation, a reflective <br />monument sign, and a grid of California <br />Fan Palms.
