1. Statement of Qualifications <br />RELEVANT PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br />Following is a list of projects related to the scope of work that PlaceWorks has completed within the <br />past five years. Please see the Appendix for images and additional projects from the PlaceWorks <br />team. We offer the following selected projects to show the range of our experience. <br />Jerome Park Outdoor Library Details/Images on page A-55 <br />PlaceWorks is currently working with the City of Santa Ana to <br />develop their first outdoor library. Anchored by a library vending <br />machine, the outdoor library will include public space for <br />residents to recreate, learn, and play. The city's vision includes <br />a multi -disciplinary space that can host programs and events <br />and also serve as a educational space for children and adults. <br />Working with grant funding from the COVID-19 relief program, <br />PlaceWorks is developing design concepts that creatively <br />embrace that vision within the budget of the grant program with <br />focused attention on implementation to complete the project within the proposed schedule. <br />Highlights Multi -generational gathering space, outdoor learning environment, customized <br />kiosk design <br />Location Santa Ana, California <br />Year Completed Ongoing <br />Client Contact Brian Sternberg, Library Services Director, City of Santa Ana 1 714.647-5296 <br />bsternberg@santa-ana.org <br />Snow Park Renovation Details/Images on page A-59 <br />PlaceWorks worked with the City of Oakland to redesign Snow <br />Park to more effectively manage stormwater and incorporate <br />new park features to meet the needs of the local community. <br />These include a new state-of-the-art terraced play area and <br />a pedestrian promenade, with a highly visible rain garden <br />featuring a custom art piece by local artists. PlaceWorks also <br />provided outreach and coordination with the community and <br />multiple advisory committees to create conceptual plans for <br />the park, streetscape, and lakeside improvements. The plans <br />were developed into construction documents and PlaceWorks <br />provided construction administration.
