Statement of Project Description* <br />Please describe the scope of the proposed improvements below (include a summary of the building's current condition, <br />areas to be improved, and how, as well as any proposed materials or colors). <br />Surfaces in parking lot are stained with oil, graffiti, paint droppings, and gum pieces which will be power washed with <br />steam/hot water. Hallway/walkway contains stains and gum to be power washed. Store fronts have minor graffiti to be <br />removed, Bird nesting in shingles will be remedied to prevent access while maintaining functionality of shingles <br />according to code. Gate with lock was installed around electric box according to Edison regulations/recommendations <br />to protect the box as well as reduce/prevent homelessness/garbage accumulation. Metal bars installed around top of <br />dumpster gate to prevent unauthorized/illegal dumping as well as unauthorized access. Landscaping: Demolish and <br />remove lawn from front areas, irrigation cap all relevant sprinklers and retrofit to drip in planter area on residential side <br />of store. Install tons of gravel around planter areas, Install mix of boulders and variety of succulents/drought tolerant <br />plants. Install 400 square feet of artificial turf around sign board area. Install automatic sprinkler system with 3 zones <br />with efficient drip system. <br />Entire building will be power washed, sanded, patched, primed, and painted with similar color scheme. Succo, <br />masonry, dumpster enclosure, light poles, railings, steps in back alley will be painted. <br />
