0 <br />0 <br />City of Irvine: Alton Parkway <br />Pavement Rehabilitation Project <br />Towill performed horizontal and vertical control sur- <br />veys, topographic surveys and centerline surveys for <br />a 3,000-foot portion of Alton Parkway near the Irvine <br />Spectrum. Utilizing a combination of conventional <br />survey methods and 3D laser scanners, Towill collect- <br />ed full street topographic data without impeding traffic <br />or closing a lane. The final data was mapped, a digital <br />terrain model created, and all delivered to the design <br />team in MicroStation and InRoads format. <br />Year Completed: 2017. <br />Client: City of Irvine <br />Contact: Uyenly Bui <br />Phone: 949.724.7559 <br />City of Fullerton: Raymond Avenue <br />Grade Separation Project <br />Towill provided quality assurance construction survey- <br />ing services, including verifying the primary and proj- <br />ect control, reviewing the horizontal design alignments <br />and vertical profiles, and responding to construction <br />survey requests, to support this grade separation <br />project. We monitored the contractor's surveyor for <br />compliance with the project surveying requirements, <br />verified their layout and controls, spot checked ref- <br />erence points and finished work, and monitored for <br />settlement or movement of existing facilities. Con- <br />struction surveys were performed in accordance with <br />the Caltrans Survey Manual and its revisions. Quiroz, QSP <br />Phone: <br />310.548.9292 <br />Los Angeles County Department of <br />Public Works: As -Needed Surveying <br />and Mapping Services Contract <br />Towill has been providing land surveying and mapping <br />services for the Los Angeles County Department of <br />Submitted October 24, 2019 <br />City of Santa Ana RFP No. 19-090 <br />Professional Land Surveying Services <br />Public Works since 2013. Our two most recent task <br />orders are described below. <br />LACDPW Headquarters Building ALTA/NSPS <br />Land Title Survey: Towill completed an ALTA/ <br />NSPS Land Title Survey for the Department of <br />Public Works Headquarters building. Services <br />included establishing ground control, color aerial <br />photography, planimetric feature collection at <br />V = 20', and development of Din <br />llal Terrain <br />Model (DTM) sufficient in detail for generating 1.0' <br />design contours. Our subconsultant, AirX, used <br />Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) to locate the <br />underground utilities. Year Completed: 2019. <br />Roosevelt Park Construction Staking: Towill is <br />currently supporting the County's contractor with <br />construction staking services for the subject <br />project. To date, there have been a total of 32 <br />staking requests issued, all of which have been <br />completed within forty-eight hours after receipt. <br />Year Completed: Ongoing. <br />Client: LACDPW <br />Contact: Mark Wittig, PLS <br />Phone: 626.458.5144 <br />Orange County Public Works: On -call <br />Surveying Services Contract <br />Towill has been providing on -call surveying services <br />to the Surveyor's Office of the Orange County Pub- <br />lic Works Department since 2010. Services that can <br />be requested under this contract include boundary <br />surveys, monumentation, monument preservation, <br />topographic surveys, construction surveys, and other <br />land surveying tasks. Our current contract extends <br />from 2018 through 2021. <br />Under our previous contract, Towill completed 11 <br />surveying task orders, including several that involved <br />deformation monitoring and monument preservation <br />and perpetuation. Deformation monitoring was pro- <br />vided for the Peters Canyon, Villa Park, and Sulphur <br />Creek Dams. The monitoring surveys included hor- <br />izontal and vertical control, horizontal monitoring of <br />specific points along the dams utilizing GPS static <br />survey procedures, and vertical monitoring of specific <br />rr TOWILL <br />11 <br />
