Daisy Chavez, Vice Chair of Anaheim Police Review Board, spoke on Item 22, the <br />Anaheim Police Review Board, and changes they would like to see with the Police <br />Oversight Commission. <br />Mextli Lopez spoke in support of Item 21, in support of an equitable rental board. <br />Adam Overton spoke on Item 22 and the changes they would like to see in the Police <br />Oversight Commission. <br />Carl spoke in support of Item 9, in support of citizenship for veterans who <br />were honorably discharged from service, homelessness, in support of the Police Oversight <br />Commission, and changes they would like to see in the Police Oversight Commission. <br />Flavio Weezer spoke on removing the No Cruising Ordinance. <br />Amina Mirza Kazi, Co -Director of the Peace and Justice Law Center, spoke on Item 22 and <br />changes they would like to see with the Police Oversight Commission. <br />Tanya Navarro spoke in support of Item 21, in support of Item 22, and changes they would <br />like to see with the Police Oversight Commission. <br />Betty Santos spoke on a non -agenda item to repeal the No Cruising Ordinance. <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve staff recommendations on the following <br />Consent Calendar Items: 6 through 21. <br />MINUTES: Mayor Pro Tern Bacerra, Councilmember Penaloza, and Councilmember <br />Mendoza dissented on Item 21. Mayor Sarmiento dissented on Item 14.
