PROPOSALFOR <br />N RFP NO.. 23-030 <br />Conceptual Green Street with Subsurface Infiltration Gallery <br />Our team of qualified engineers provide expertise in <br />a variety of disciplines and can support the City in <br />a range of capacities. These personnel are skilled <br />and experienced in the preparation of engineering <br />designs and analyses, and the provision of plans, <br />specifications, as -built drawings and records. We can <br />also provide personnel experienced with construction <br />monitoring as well as the preparation of construction <br />documents. <br />Project Engineering Design and Analysis: <br />When analyzing and performing designs for capital <br />improvement projects it is our goal to find the <br />greatest possible public benefit. This includes finding <br />multipurpose solutions that incorporate effective <br />water resource management, improved water quality, <br />and enhanced operational flexibility. Our experience <br />supports our ability to find creative, non-traditional <br />solutions, if necessary, to meet project requirements. <br />Our team will focus our design on meeting all project <br />code, permit and regulatory requirements. We fully <br />understand that the City has its own set of design <br />standards. As an extension of the City of Santa Ana <br />staff, our team will fully comply with and follow these <br />standards. <br />Reports: Tetra Tech has a broad range of <br />experience preparing feasibility, evaluation and <br />analysis, and conceptual studies for various Public <br />Water Agencies. <br />Tetra Tech's reports will be prepared in accordance <br />with the City standards and submitted with adequate <br />time for review and approval by the City of Santa <br />Ana staff. Almost every project we complete begins <br />with a detailed preliminary design and/or conceptual <br />design report. Our team is well versed in preparing <br />all manner of reports, and is experienced with <br />implementing the recommendations provided in <br />these types of reports, even when prepared by other <br />agencies or design professionals. <br />Tetra Tech has also participated in the preparation <br />of numerous technical reports and studies on pilot <br />testing, alternative analysis, and water master plans <br />(including some with recycled water components). <br />Plans: Our construction drawings production <br />includes extensive internal quality control for all <br />design elements, including adherence to the City <br />of Santa Ana standards. We always ensure that <br />proper coordination of plans and specifications are <br />completed before each submittal. The project team is <br />experienced and knowledgeable with the codes and <br />design criteria that will govern both the conceptual <br />and final design plans for a project. We are well <br />versed in the design manuals and requirements <br />established by the City of Santa Ana, Orange County, <br />the Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB), <br />AASHTO, Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices <br />(MUTCD), California Building Code (CBC), Caltrans, <br />and the Standard Specifications for Public Works <br />Construction (SSPWC). <br />Specifications: Technical specifications include <br />the City's boilerplate general conditions and <br />requirements of the construction, detailed <br />requirements for the work to be performed, and <br />requirements for the materials to be used in <br />construction. <br />Tetra Tech will make certain that specifications <br />conform to the requirements set forth by the City, <br />the Standard Specifications for Public Works <br />Construction (Green Book), Caltrans and any other <br />applicable general conditions. <br />City of Santa Ana 0 <br />
