One of the first
items of work is to prepare a PMP that sets the expectations and serves as a guidebook as task orders
are developed and executed.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT PLAN
The preparation of a PMP is crucial. PMPs are prepared shortly after NTP and serve as a guide for
project implementation and management. The PMP provides a baseline of project objectives to achieve,
how it is to be achieved, who will be involved, how it will be reported and measured, and how information
will be communicated. With an on -call contract, we create an overarching PMP that includes items such
as the contract contact list, communication protocols, budget tracking and invoicing procedures. The PMP
will be amended for each specific task order and will include the following:
Project Overview and Objectives
Project Scope, Requirements, and Deliverables
Project Team Roles and Responsibilities
Project Budget
» Schedule and Key Milestones
Quality Control Approach
MARK THOMAS ON -CALL ENGINEERING SERVICES
Page 12 City of Santa Ana
