<br />Pavement and roadway facilities design and rehabilitation expertise. Kleinfelder's civil team in
<br />conjunction with our geotechnical group can assess surface distresses and subgrade deficiencies,
<br />recommend and develop plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) for the most appropriate and cost-
<br />effective rehabilitation measures. Kleinfelder has provided pavement, sidewalk, and ADA related

<br />Kleinfelder's history of providing comprehensive client service and quality engineering within the civil
<br />engineering practice and multiple other areas of design and construction delivers a full -service
<br />solution to solve the City's needs. Kleinfelder's ability to provide multiple core services in-house allows
<br />for an integrated and streamlined approach to project delivery. Our experience with municipalities
<br />includes successfully managing and delivering on multiple on -call contracts and high -profile water,
<br />wastewater, reservoir, bridge, and site work projects. Additionally, we have provided design services
<br />for multiple Green Infrastructure, Complete Streets, and Low Impact Development (LID) projects for
<br />various municipalities. We bring best practices learned from previous on -call/ as -needed contracts,
<br />and the relevant diverse experience to successfully complete the City's task orders. We will utilize our
<br />four step (planning, execution, monitoring, management) project delivery approach as described
<br />above to successfully deliver the contract task orders on time and within budget.
<br />Our knowledge of current codes and design guidelines is exemplary and includes Title 24 California
<br />Code of Regulations, California Building Standards Code, American Water Works, Caltrans, ADA,
<br />City of Santa Ana Municipal Code (SAMC), and a wide knowledge of professional standards of the
<br />city, county, state, and federal guidelines. Kleinfelder also has an extensive knowledge of micro
<br />station V& for the use of plan development and the City of Santa Ana's CAD standards resulting in a
<br />seamless integration of standards and development of plans for the City.
<br />We also realize the importance of having available resources to maintain high levels of
<br />responsiveness. Therefore, we have identified several additional internal resources and established
<br />key teaming arrangements to ensure our team has the expertise and capacity to be responsive to the
<br />City's needs. In the event a task order requires additional support beyond the resources identified

<br />Kleinfelder is currently operating under a third consecutive contract for As -Needed Engineering Consultant
<br />Services to support existing and future water, wastewater, and recycled water facilities for the City of San Diego's
