Experience Providing On -Call Support Alta has worked with many public agencies across the country in an on -call capacity to assist with non -motorized planning, transportation engineering, and landscape architecture projects. We can provide project management, technical expertise, community outreach/stakeholder engagement, and grant writing capabilities to your bench of consulting firms. Our specific approach to working in an on -call, technical support role involves close client communication, frequent collaboration during project development, and efficient delegation of design tasks to the consultant team and client agency staff. Alta will be an asset in developing well -organized, clearly written, forward -thinking construction documents and reports. Safety and Vision Zero Advocates Alta is invested in the safety and accessibility of roadways and streets across Orange County for all users. At the regional level, we supported the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) with its regional bikeways planning efforts. Alta identified bikeways strategies for Districts 1 and 2 that supported the goals contained in existing countywide transportation plans. Alta continues to support local needs and efforts to implement broader transportation objectives throughout the County. We concluded a Safe Routes to School (SRTS) plan for the City of Santa Ana that identified and prioritized school infrastructure improvements to encourage walking and biking at schools across the City. Our engineers and planners collaborated to develop a program that would improve safety and mobility for the City's residents. Southern California On - Call Experience Alta has supported over 25 agencies across California in an on -call capacity to address local and regional active transportation needs. We maintain consistent and frequent communication throughout project development and incorporate a strong sustainability component into our project approaches.
