If you are observed in inappropriate attire, you may be asked to go home <br />and change <br />Veterans Addendum <br />The following polices are for students receiving veteran educational benefits as required to meet the minimum <br />standards of federal law. <br />Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy <br />Progress will be monitored at the end of each week of every program for all students receiving veterans' benefits. If at <br />the end of any week, the student's grades fall below 70%, the student will be placed on academic probation for one <br />week. If at the end of the probation period, the student's grade is not raised to 70%, the Department of Veterans Affairs <br />will be notified, and benefits will be interrupted. <br />Funding Policy <br />Computer Learning Center does not penalize students using VA Education benefit programs under Chapters 33 <br />and 31 while waiting for payment from the Department of Veterans Affairs providing they submit a certificate of <br />eligibility, a written request to use such entitlement, and any additional information needed to certify enrollment. <br />Students will continue have access to classes, labs, and other institutional facilities as outlined in our catalog. <br />No late fees will be assessed, and student's accounts will be considered on hold. <br />This is required under Title 38 USC 3679(e) <br />VA Benefits <br />I understand that it is my responsibility to monitor my benefits. I also understand that I am responsible for the funding <br />of my training. <br />Attendance Policy <br />A student will be placed on attendance probation if he or she is below 80% in attendance in any given week. The <br />student must bring his/her attendance above 80% by the end of the following week to be removed from probation. If at <br />the end of the probation period, the student's attendance is not raised to 80% of scheduled classes, the Department of <br />Veterans Affairs will be notified, and benefits will be interrupted. <br />A student can be placed on a maximum of TWO probations for attendance prior to academic dismissal. <br />Prior Education and Training Policy <br />This institution will inquire about each veteran's previous education and training, and request transcripts from all prior <br />institutions, including military training, traditional college coursework and vocational training.
