ou`cherslE am Po icy. <br />All unused vouchers for exams expire 18 months from the date of purchase. When student is issued exam voucher it <br />is the student's responsibility to schedule and complete the exam before the expiration date of the exam voucher. <br />Completion Requirements <br />Completion requires a minimum of 80% course attendance and an overall passing score of 70% or better on <br />Career Development Solutions post class assessments. <br />Student Conduct <br />Students must abide by all school policies and regulations. This includes the proper use of software, hardware, <br />classroom behavior, dress code, respect for the instructor's authority, completion of courses in the designated time <br />frame, and adherence to attendance policies. <br />Career Development Solutions believes that no student has the right to interfere with another student's ability to <br />learn. If any student exhibits behavior that hinders that right, they will be asked to leave the classroom. Children <br />are not allowed to accompany parents into any class or to labs. Students are prohibited from unlawful <br />possession, use, or distribution of illicit drugs, alcohol, or weapons of any kind. No student will be allowed to use any <br />verbal, physical, or discriminatory threats or abusive language towards another student, or member of the staff. The <br />use of profanity is strictly prohibited. Discriminatory remarks of any kind will not be tolerated and may result in <br />termination from the program. Any violation of this conduct policy should be brought to the attention of the Instructor <br />immediately. These concerns can be made verbally, or in writing as stated in the grievance procedures described in <br />this catalog. <br />Any student who violates this student conduct policy may be placed on advisement, suspension, or dismissed from the <br />program. Any courses that are missed due to violations of the conduct policy must be made up, and are the student's <br />responsibility. <br />Mobile Phone Policy <br />Students will always have Mobile Phones on silent. Talking on mobile phones in class is prohibited. <br />Talking on phones in classrooms will result in student being asked to leave for the day. NO EXCEPTIONS <br />Learning Lab <br />The school maintains a resource lab area at each location. The lab has resource materials and a mentor available <br />for the students to assist them in their studies. The learning is open to students during normal, operating hours. <br />Students can drop in during business hours to utilize the lab and resources available. <br />Each Learning lab is staffed by an expert mentor. Students have access to a personal, state-of-the-art workstations <br />that include two computer monitors. This allows students to have the course content on one screen or other training <br />material while using the other to participate in an interactive environment that consists of the server, hardware, and <br />software need for hands-on training. Students also have access to a professional mentor that will able to answer <br />questions, troubleshoot, and provide assistance with the course work. <br />(5, CCR §71740 and §7181 0(b)(1 0)) <br />
