Mr. Smith <br />provided design and engineering services to evaluate the existing lake facilities and develop a lake renovation plan <br />to address existing lake deficiencies, improve water quality, reduce likelihood of golden algae bloom formation, <br />address accumulated polluted sediment issues, and improve the lake fishery. Mr. Smith led the JS&TM team in <br />developing a lake renovation concept to transform the existing lake into a sustainable lakethat can be managed with <br />naturalized management techniques without the use of chemical inputs. Mr. Smith designed a lake biofiltration, <br />wetland aquatic vegetation system, pan fish and bass spawning beds, lake horizontal circulation system, and macro <br />trash removal filters. Mr. Smith also developed a design for the lake bogs to reconfigure them to function as wetland <br />filters that treat offsite stormwater and non-stormwater runoff BMPs and anoxic biofilters for the lake. Mr. Smith <br />also developed a comprehensive lake management guide/manual for the HCA to guide the activities and of the lake <br />management personnel. <br />} <br />T.
