If a student withdraws after the first twenty-one <br />(21) calendar days, but prior to the 60 percent point <br />of the period of enrollment or payment period for <br />which he or she has been charged, the Student <br />shall be entitled to a pro rata refund of the tuition <br />charged for the period of enrollment or payment <br />period. <br />If a student withdraws after the 6o percent point of <br />the period of enrollment or payment period for <br />which he or she has been charged, the Student <br />shall be obligated for the tuition charged for the <br />entire period of enrollment or payment period and <br />not entitled to any refund. <br />Student Notifications Regarding <br />Withdrawal and Refunds <br />Effective: 07/20/2020 <br />A $1oo,00 administrative fee will be assessed to any <br />withdrawn student eight days after their last date of <br />attendance. <br />In case of prolonged illness or accident, death in the <br />family, or other circumstances that make it impractical <br />to complete the program, the Institution shall make a <br />settlement that is reasonable and fair to both parties. <br />Students may repeat a class. If the Student should <br />withdraw from the program for any reason, based on <br />the refund policy, the hours or weeks in attendance for <br />repeating a class, depending on the program, will be <br />used in the program completion percentage calculation <br />in determining the Student's financial obligation to the <br />Institution. <br />If any portion of your tuition was paid from the <br />proceeds of a loan, the refund will be sent to the lender <br />or to the agency that guaranteed the loan. Any amount <br />in excess of the unpaid balance of the loan will be first <br />used to repay any federa Vstate/private student <br />financial aid program from which you received benefits, <br />in proportion to the amount of the benefits received. <br />Any remaining amount greater than $5.00 will be paid <br />to you. If there is a balance due, you will be responsible <br />for paying that amount, <br />Financial Aid Office <br />The Financial Aid Office Is open to students during the <br />hours posted on campus. Students are encouraged to <br />call or visit the office if they have any questions or need <br />assistance regarding their financial aid, <br />The resources of the Financial Aid Office are available to <br />all students. Financial Aid staff members assist students <br />in determining individual eligibility for the various aid <br />programs and in completing the necessary applications <br />and paperwork, To receive federal financial assistance, <br />students must maintain satisfactory academic progress <br />toward completion of their program as outlined in the <br />school catalog. The Financial Aid Office is responsible <br />for monitoring each student's academic progress to <br />ensure continued eligibility. <br />Student Responsibilities <br />Students must promptly return all required <br />applications and paperwork to the Financial Aid <br />Office. <br />If the Financial Aid Office needs to see a student, <br />the office will contact the student personally. It is <br />the student's responsibility to see Financial Aid <br />when notified. <br />Each student who receives a student loan is <br />required to complete entrance and exit <br />counseling. The Financial Aid Office will notify <br />each student when these sessions are scheduled, <br />If a student misses a session, it is the student's <br />responsibility to contact the Financial Aid Office to <br />reschedule a date. <br />If a student obtains a loan to pay for an <br />educational program, the student wilt be <br />responsible for repaying the full amount of the <br />Loan plus interest, less the amount of any refund, <br />and that, If the student has received federal <br />student financial aid funds, the student is entitled <br />to a refund of the moneys not paid from federal <br />student financial aid program funds. <br />Financial Aid <br />Concorde Career College participates in the United <br />States Department of Education's Federal Student <br />Assistance programs, These programs are available for <br />those who qualify. <br />Federal Pell Grant <br />The Federal Pell Grant is a grant to students who <br />qualify under the federal financial need guidelines. <br />Application is made through the Free Application for <br />Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). <br />Federal Supplemental Educational <br />Ootaortunity Grant (FSEOG) <br />The FSEOG Is a grant that the school awards to <br />students based on financial need and the availability of <br />funds. Application is made through the Free Application <br />for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), <br />Federal Subsidized and Unsul sidized <br />Loans <br />Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans are low -interest <br />loans made by the U,S.
