Instructors and Faculty <br />GMC instructors and faculty are highly qualified professional who meet and exceed regulatory <br />minimum requirements for the subject being taught. All instructors hold appropriate <br />credentials to teach their approved courses and exceed the minimum requirement of years of <br />experience in relevant fields of industry and healthcare per the relevant approving agency. <br />Sufficient duly qualified instructors are hired and then they are trained in the philosophy of <br />GMC instruction to help ensure that students master the learning objectives and complete their <br />program. GMC Instructor training is on -going process of on -boarding, monitoring, and <br />evaluation to ensure that instructors provide engaging, substantive, and rigorous instruction. <br />Academic Freedom <br />GMC is committed to assuring full academic freedom to all instructors and faculty. Confident in <br />the qualifications and expertise of its faculty members, the GMC encourages its instructors and <br />faculty members to exercise individual judgments regarding the content of the assigned <br />courses, organization of topics and instructional methods, providing only that these judgments <br />are made within the context of the course descriptions as currently published, and providing <br />that the instructional methods are those official sanctioned by the institution, methods for <br />which the institution has received oversight approval. <br />This institution encourages instructors, faculty, and students to engage in discussion and dialog. <br />All members alike are encouraged to freely express views, however controversial, as long as <br />they believe it would advance understanding in their specialized discipline or sub -disciplines, <br />COVID-19 Notice <br />Due to COVlD-19, some program and course offerings are only available in the hybrid <br />instructional model. Some programs and courses have been suspended so that GMC can focus <br />only on Essential Programs and Courses.
