<br />Resolution No. 2023-XXX Page 1 of 2 <br />RESOLUTION 2023-XXX <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING <br />A SALARY ADJUSTMENT FOR THE CITY MANAGER BASED ON EMPLOYEE <br />PERFORMANCE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City of Santa Ana(“City”) and Kristine Ridge (“City Manager”) entered <br />into that certain Employment Agreement dated March 19, 2019 (hereinafter “Employment <br />Agreement”), whereby Employee agreed to serve as the City Manager of the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana City Charter and Employment Agreement <br />provides that the City Council shall conduct an annual performance evaluation of the City <br />Manager; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council conducted such evaluation on August 1, 2023 resulting <br />in positive performance appraisal; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council desires to provide a salary adjustment for the City <br />Manager. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council hereby approves an annual salary for the City <br />Manager of $319,967 (“Annual Salary”) retroactively effective July 1, 2022. The Annual <br />Salary shall be payable in installment payments in the same manner and at the same <br />times as salaries of other executive managers of the City are paid. <br /> <br />Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption. <br /> <br />Section 3.
