Temporary Employee Staffing Services <br />June 20, 2023 <br />Page 2 <br />Fifteen proposals were received and opened by the RFP deadline on April 19, 2023 and <br />all were deemed responsive. The selection committee with experience in human <br />resources and related program services evaluated all proposals. The selected, highest - <br />ranked firms will provide temporary employee staffing on an as -needed basis. <br />Staff recommends awarding agreements to the seven highest -ranked firms based on <br />the City's projected needs. The proposals submitted by these firms demonstrated they <br />have the necessary capacity and expertise to provide temporary staffing services as <br />specified in the RFP. Additionally, the firms' rates are reasonable and within industry <br />standard, and the proposals were determined to provide the best overall value for the <br />City. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Funding is available in the FY 2023-24 budget in the various departmental Contractual <br />Services — Professional Account (62300) and funding for subsequent fiscal years will be <br />included in the proposed budgets for City Council consideration. The estimated not -to - <br />exceed amount of expenditures in FY 2023-2024, FY 2024-2025, FY 2025-2026, FY <br />2026-2027 (optional), and FY 2027-2028 (optional) is $400,000 per fiscal year. <br />Payments to all vendors will be tracked to ensure the City does not exceed the <br />aggregate $2,000,000 maximum total. <br />EXHIBIT(S) <br />1.
