<br />ARTICLE XI <br />11.0 EMPLOYEE INSURANCE <br />11.1 Health Insurance. The City shall contribute an allowance towards the employee’s Cafeteria <br />Benefit plan for health insurance premiums for eligible employees and their qualified <br />dependents under The Public Employees’ Medical & Hospital Care Act (PEMHCA) which <br />governs the California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) Health Insurance <br />Programs pursuant to the provisions below. <br />A.Effective January 1, 2022, the City will provide a monthly contribution to health <br />insurance premiums at the following rates: <br /> Employee Only <br /> Employee +1 <br /> Employee + Family <br />$804.00 <br />$1,457.00 <br />$1,850.00 <br />B.Effective the first full pay period following City Council approval of this 2022- <br />2025 MOU, the City will provide a monthly contribution to health insurance <br />premiums at the following rates: <br /> Employee Only <br /> Employee +1 <br /> Employee + Family <br />$904.00 <br />$1,557.00 <br />$1,950.00 <br />C. <br />D. <br />Effective January 1, 2024, the City will provide a monthly contribution to health <br />insurance premiums at the following rates: <br /> Employee Only <br /> Employee +1 <br /> Employee + Family <br />$954.00 <br />$1,607.00 <br />$2,000.00 <br />Effective January 1, 2025, the City will provide a monthly contribution to health <br />insurance premiums at the following rates: <br /> Employee Only <br /> Employee +1 <br /> Employee + Family <br />$1,004.00 <br />$1,657.00 <br />$2,050.00 <br />The above amounts are inclusive of the CalPERS statutory minimum amount which <br />CalPERS determines and publishes each year. <br />SANTA ANA MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION (SAMA) MOU: 2022-2025 39
