<br />Public Outreach and Contractor Participation
<br />To provide an opportunity for local vendors to submit bids, the City notified a total of 367
<br />regional vendors via PlanetBids, many of which are Santa Ana based. Six vendors
<br />requested bidding documents and a total of 15 bids were received. Bids were not
<br />received from any Santa Ana contractors.
<br />As legally required, a Notice Inviting Bids was advertised in the Orange County Register
<br />newspaper on March 1, 2023 and March 8, 2023. The project was also advertised in
<br />PlanetBids from March 1, 2023 through March 22, 2023. Bids were received
<br />electronically via PlanetBids on March 22, 2023.
