Proposal to provide <br />On-Cail Landscape Architectural Services — RFP No. 22-097 <br />D. Understanding of Need <br />Approach and Understanding <br />David Evans and Associates, Inc. (DEA) has over 120 employees in <br />eight offices throughout southern California, with one office located in <br />close proximity to the City of Santa Ana (City). Our team consists of <br />landscape architects, park planners, irrigation specialists, engineers, <br />surveyors, graphic artists / 3D modelers to support the City team. <br />Our project manager, Heath Habig, PLA, has 26 years of professional <br />landscape architecture experience working for various agencies <br />LHroUgHOUL Orange CounLy. Our imernal Learn and subconsultanLS <br />have extensive experience in the design of projects for municipalities like the City in the areas of park <br />and recreation, site specific master planning of existing parks, sports fields / sports courts renovations, <br />skate parks, dog parks, splash pads, bike trails, site lighting, water conservation, habitat restoration, urban <br />forestry, landscape renovations, irrigation renovations, and interpretive signage. Additionally, we have added <br />subconsultants to enhance our resources to provide environmental, electrical, and geotechnical engineering <br />services. <br />DEA will provide the following services for this on -call contract: <br />• Park Planning and Design <br />• Site Specific Master Planning & Concept Development <br />• Community Outreach / Meetings and Presentations <br />• 3D Visualization / Graphics <br />m Plan Checking <br />• Utility Search and Coordination <br />• Site Surveying <br />• Maps and Mapping Services <br />• Contract Documents <br />• Cost Estimating <br />• Storm Water Best Management Practices <br />• WQMP <br />• Bid Advertisement Support <br />• Construction Support <br />• As -Built Plans <br />We have added subconsultants for the following <br />services: <br />m Geotechnical <br />• Environmental <br />• Electrical Engineering <br />LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE DESIGN SERVICES <br />DEA's team of experienced professionals have provided landscape architectural services for public works <br />projects for over 46 years. Our solutions emerge through careful consideration of the site and project needs, <br />as well as by taking into account the desired function of the project.
