SECTION I I Statement of Qualifications <br />I <br />ESCONDIDO <br />CREEK TRAIL EXPANSION AND <br />RENOVATION DESIGN <br />ESCONDIDO, CA <br />NOTABLE INFO & STATS: �ndn <br />Lizent: Uty oj Escondido <br />Thneline: 2020-Present <br />RRM SERVICES PROVIDED: <br />Eikqineering, LandscapeArchitecture, <br />planning <br />The City of Escondido hired RRM Design Group to design <br />the new improvements along 4 miles of the Escondido <br />Creek corridor to create a premiere linear park. The City <br />was awarded $8.5 million frorn the California Department <br />of Parks & Recreation through the Prop 68 Parks & Water <br />Bond Act, which aims to create new parks and recreation <br />opportunities in underserved communities across the state. <br />RRM is providing remote interactive public outreach and <br />stakeholder meetings to assist the community in the vision <br />of the greenway. RRM is leading the design and construction <br />documents for 4.5 miles of the creek trail and greenway <br />which includes new trails, new connections to the west <br />end of town, bioretention areas, new corridor landscape, <br />pollinator gardens, public art, outdoor fitness stations, and <br />new branding with wayfinding and interpretive signs along <br />the remaining 6 miles of Escondido's premiere greenway <br />through the heart of the city. <br />14 6 , rrm <br />1,01 <br />
