Proposal to provide <br />On -Call Landscape Architectural Services — RFP No. 22-097 <br />On -Call Landscape Architectural Services, Temecula, California: Under DEA's current on call <br />contract with the City, DEA has successfully worked on the following projects: <br />• Sam Hicks Monument Park: DEA provided design for <br />improvements consisting of HDPE split -rail and tubular <br />steel fencing, decorative masonry pilasters, tubular steel <br />pedestrian and vehicle gates, in addition to addressing the <br />need to retrofit the existing planting and irrigation systems. <br />• Recycled Water Retrofits: DEA has designed two projects <br />for large slope areas and a ten acre park that converted the <br />existing irrigation systems from potable water to recycled <br />water. OR 1 �7� <br />• Ronald Reagan Sports Park Pickleball Courts: DEA is <br />currently preparing plans for a large pickleball facility that will include 16 standard pickleball courts and one <br />ADA court, seating and shade shelters, and a 124-stall parking lot. <br />• Ronald Reagan Sports Park Roller Hockey Rink Upgrades: DEA is currently preparing plans for a major <br />renovation of an existing roller hockey court. The new improvements include a roof over the entire rink and <br />adjacent seating areas, lighting and ADA upgrades. <br />• Michael "Mike" Naggar Park Off Leash Dog Area: DEA prepared plans for a new 2.5 acre off -leash dog <br />park that includes fencing, sidewalks, seating area with shade shelters and a new irrigation system and <br />landscaping. <br />• Michael "Mike" Naggar Park Demonstration Garden: DEA is designing a demonstration garden that <br />will replace an existing off leash dog park. This demonstration garden will feature climate adapted drought <br />tolerant plants, pathways, dry streambeds, seating and fencing. <br />Year Completed: Ongoing <br />Client Name: City of Temecula <br />Contact Name / Number: Stacy Fox / 951.694.6411 <br />Topaz Area 3 Streetscape Renovations, La Quinta, <br />California: Under an on -call contract with the City of La Quinta, <br />DEA landscape architects prepared conceptual and final plans for <br />parkway renovations along Miles Avenue and Dune Palms Road. <br />The design included the use of inert materials including two <br />complimentary colors of decomposed granite, gravel, rubble, rock <br />blanket and desert accent plants providing year-round color and <br />interest. Minor grading, wall improvements, irrigation upgrades <br />(existing main line was protected in place), and lighting <br />improvements were provided. An adjacent retention basin was <br />also a part of the scope of services and included the removal of <br />existing turf in favor of drought tolerant plant material.
