City of Santa Ana <br />geometric design and channelization, traffic signal and street lighting plans, parking lot designs, and traffic control plans for <br />construction. <br />Drainage Engineering <br />Willdan has expertise in hydrology, drainage, and flood control — ranging from local and regional drainage and flood control <br />improvements to hydraulic and sediment transport analyses of major rivers. Quality engineering solutions in drainage and <br />stormwater management are one of the primary elements of our public works experience. Willdan has prepared many <br />watershed and floodway studies, completed flood control and drainage engineering projects, and performed design and <br />construction inspection services throughout California. <br />Water Resources Engineering <br />Willdan provides services for water system planning, analysis, design, construction inspection, and operational assessment <br />involving well design, rehabilitation, and evaluation; reservoir design and rehabilitation; pump station design and modifications; <br />modeling analysis of partial and entire systems; water transmission and distribution pipelines; and coordination with system <br />telemetry and metering specialists. We are experienced with the Department of Water Resources, Drinking Water Division, <br />public health agencies, and Title 22 provisions. <br />Environmental Compliance, Permits, and Planning Support <br />Willdan's environmental planners frequently assists cities in the environmental review process, either in preparing and <br />processing CEQA/NEPA environmental documents, such as negative declarations and environmental impact reports, or in <br />reviewing documents on behalf of the lead or responsible agencies. In providing environmental and urban planning services, <br />we utilize our staff of planners and environmental specialists and call upon the expertise of other disciplines within the <br />company, including traffic engineers, hydrologists, water and wastewater engineers, and landscape architects. <br />Landscape Architecture <br />Willdan's landscape architects focus on designing landscapes for public improvements such as park and recreational facilities, <br />community centers, and roadway beautification. Our landscape architects apply their talents and knowledge of site analysis, <br />user needs programming, site design, landscape preservation, land management and reclamation, water conservation, and <br />arboriculture. <br />On -Call Contract Expertise <br />On -call engineering services are Willdan's foundation. Our staff includes former public agency employees or contract agency staff. <br />Therefore, we understand the importance and purpose of as -needed contracts and are very familiar with the processes and <br />procedures for such services. Within the last 12 years, Willdan has completed projects and task orders for more than 200 as- <br />needed/on-call contracts. This experience and the relevant experience of our dedicated and available key personnel are what best <br />suits Willdan to provide the City with on -call engineering services. Our history of working with as -needed contracts has well <br />prepared our staff to respond to all requests for services in a positive, efficient manner.
