<br />Subtask 4.04 — Preliminary Design Report Willdan will compile a Preliminary Design Report (PDR) for review and approval by
<br />the City. The report will contain a summary of the initial reconnaissance notes, utility. Subtask 4.04 Deliverables
<br />provided information, field survey findings, any photographs of conditions for discussion, - Preliminary Design Report
<br />and the base design concept with preliminary construction cost estimate. The report will
<br />be discussed with City representatives to make reliable, cost effective decisions about the proposed street improvements, water and
<br />sewer rehabilitation/replacement methods.
<br />During preparation of the PDR, Willdan will review existing information, such as the pavement management report, city sewer and
<br />water documents and field review of the street to make recommendations regarding the construction needs, including the location
<br />and extend of missing or damaged sidewalk, curbs and gutter, access ramps, driveways, sewer and water repairs. In addition, the
<br />report will address the disposition of existing utilities and coordination, and anticipated requirements.
<br />Task 5 — Plans, Specifications, and Engineer's Estimate - Option A and Option B
<br />Subtask 5.01 — Construction Plans.
<br />Willdan will prepare conceptual plans for City review, comment and Task 5.01 Deliverables
<br />approval. Upon approval of the concept plans, the final design phase - Three hard copies of full-size conceptual plan layout and
<br />will be initiated. Willdan will submit plans at the 30-, 60-, and 100- one electronic PDF format
<br />percent levels of completion. The City will provide review comments at - Three hard copies of full-size and half-size plan submittals
<br />all design stages. Willdan will address comments received from the at 30-, 60-, and 1 00-percent completion milestones, one
<br />submittal reviews, including comments received from other affected electronic PDF copy, and one electronic Microstation copy
<br />agencies and utilities. Willdan will submit one, original, signed set of in V8i format.
<br />full-sized plans, a signed, unbound, set of final specifications, and a copy of the final engineer's opinion of construction cost to the City.
<br />One set of Mylars will be produced after 100% plans are approved by the City (upon request). Plans will conform to City standard plans
<br />and CADD standards and be prepared utilizing Microstation V8i software.
<br />Option A: The plans be prepared in sufficient detail to bid the rehabilitation of the identified well — method to be determined by the City
<br />after review of the assessment report — and the proposed sewer and water facilities. Utility plans will be drafted at 40-scale and plans will
<br />display all referenced standard plans including trenching details.
<br />Option 13: The plans will consist of a Title SheeV Typical notes, Roadway Plans, Construction Details, Signing and Striping, Landscape,
<br />and Storm Water Biofiltration (if required in complete streets). The Roadway Plans will consist of two sheets and will be drafted at 20-
<br />scale. The Roadway Improvement Plans will include the topographic survey and utility base plan information, limits of removal, and limits
<br />of repairs for pavement, curb and gutter, driveway configuration, ADA curb ramps, etc. All other improvement plan sheets will be drafted
<br />at 40-scale.
<br />Subtask 5.02 — Specifications. 8 Task 5.02 Deliverables
<br />Willdan will prepare technical special provisions for bidding per City One electronic PDF copy and one electronic Word copy of
<br />standards. The City will provide boilerplate specifications. Special technical and special provisions at 60- and 1 00-percent
<br />provisions will be prepared utilizing Greenbook and Caltrans formats completion milestones
<br />(latest editions).
<br />Subtask 5.03 — Engineer's Construction Cost Estimate.
<br />Willdan will prepare a construction cost estimate to accompany the 30-, 60-, Task 5.03 Deliverables
<br />and 100-percent plan deliverables. Quantity calculations and final construction - One electronic PDF copy and one electronic
<br />cost estimates will be prepared in accordance with City requirements to Excel copy of engineer's cost estimate at concept

<br />Task 6 — Construction Bidding Phase Services - Option A and Option B
<br />Willdan will prepare a construction bid package per City standards.
