Understanding of Need <br />Project Management Work Plan <br />IDS'current and projected backlog of projects will enable us to provide an efficient turnaround. We are <br />sufficiently staffed with licensed engineers and designers and architects, and our team has the required <br />specialized and in-depth resources necessary to ensure that project assignments will be performed <br />according to schedule. <br />Methodology <br />IDS is committed to an architecture that is practical, innovative, sophisticated, and relevant to our place <br />and time. We follow three general rules in our approach for a successful completion of a project: <br />0 Understanding of the City's Goals related to the specific project (task order) <br />0 Provide proactive communications during the evaluation or design process <br />0 Verify and measure the achieved goals <br />Responsiven_'�Wl <br />ess <br />Quality in <br />J ILIA <br />T #4 <br />L <br />Providing a collaborative <br />partnership with the City <br />Management Plan: IDS will work within the City standards and guidelines to ensure project success <br />from design through completion. Our Management Plan is based upon a hierarchical team approach <br />and is led by the corresponding Project Manager. In this management plan, the Project Manager will <br />assemble a project team for each project assignment, matching the special capabilities of our staff and <br />/ or consultants with the requirements of the project. The Project Manager is committed to meeting <br />staffing and schedule requirements necessary for successful project completion. <br />Project communication begins with establishing project responsibilities, organizational structure, and <br />clear lines of reporting within the consulting team. Based on our experience in similar projects, we have <br />developed a clear and efficient management procedure for our services. <br />The Project Manager will: <br />Provide a licensed Project Engineer with extensive related work experience and training to meet <br />the project needs. <br />Ensure that the team is supported with the commitment of necessary resources of the firm(s) to <br />respond to the project needs for a successful project completion, ensure that qualified professionals <br />with related work experience will be assigned for design review and design services respectively. <br />AA IDS GROUP Page 20 <br />
