Understanding of Need <br />Public Works engineering contracts require careful planning, effective communication, and precise <br />execution in order to avoid costly contract change orders or delays during the construction phase. In an <br />effort to ensure consistent and excellent services, TAIT employs our proven 5 step project management <br />protocol (Understand -->Assign--> Plan--> Execute--> QAIQC) on each assigned contract. The scope and fee <br />for this proposal has been presented in this manner in order to show our full understanding and <br />commitment for the City's planned project. <br />STEP 1 4 UNDERSTAND: <br />Understanding the City's Needs <br />To best understand the projects specifics needs, we first focus on what the City's overall needs are for <br />this contract and future contracts that will be required as part of the On -Call Contract.
